Fit Foodie at Home: Easy Iced Latte

One of the most challenging things of our stay at home order is the disruption of our normalcy, and for me, that includes my afternoon treat: iced latte from my local coffee stand. Sitting quietly with my coffee has become a kind of self-care for me; I decompress a bit, and enjoy the few moments of silent thought which helps me reset my intentions for rest of my day. Here’s an easy iced latte that will satisfy cravings for your favorite coffee stand order.

  • 1-2 shots of espresso or a 1/4 c strong coffee
  • Lots of ice
  • 3/4-1 c milk (can almond, oat, or cow’s milk)

Fill a large glass with ice and milk. Add espresso shots or strong coffee. You can adjust your milk or espresso amount based on preference. Add a fun straw. Find a quiet corner of your house and enjoy this deliciousness in silence.
