Turkey burgers are a great swap for standard beef burgers and you still have that satisfied feeling of enjoying a juicy, grilled burger!
The most important things to consider when grilling with turkey is to add a lot of seasoning, as turkey tends to be very bland, and to be careful not to over cook, as turkey can dry out.
- 1 1/4 pound ground turkey (we use 93/7)
- 3-5 T Dry Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning (sub any grilling seasoning you like if ranch is not your jam)
- 1/4 c Finely diced scallions, red onion or chives
- Whole wheat burger buns
- Toppings: Lettuce, tomato and sliced avocado
Oil or spray your grill. Preheat indoor or outdoor grill to med high and cook on the first side for approximately 5 minutes.
Flip, and continue cooking for 3-5 minutes more, or until internal temperature is 165 degrees F.
Let sit for a few minutes and assemble the burgers, adding your favorite toppings.
Enjoy! xoxo
