Mom of the Month: Emily Moore

Share your thoughts on the concept of “it takes a village” – is it important for moms to join a village?

It's critical, it saved me over these past several months while I was unemployed and job searching. The mamas were so welcoming and going through (or had gone through) so much of what I was experiencing - good and bad. As a mom, a wife, a friend, a daughter. We have so much in common.

Cold brew and Pinot Noir (not at the same time!)

Chocolate dipped chocolate soft serve cone from DQ

Dinner, drinks and a live show/concert or movie with my husband

What is your ultimate child-free vacation destination?

Europe!

How has becoming a mother changed you?

I have become more empathetic and understanding, and even more careful about how I interact with others. Trying to see the best in people as much as possible.

I am happiest when...

I am adventuring with my family and seeing pure joy on my son's face when he discovers something new or something he finds funny!
