Where are you originally from?

Culver City, California

When did you join FIT4MOM?

September 2016

What classes do you attend?

Katie's Body Back class on M/W at 8pm!

Who is/are your workout buddy(ies) and their age(s)?

I love working out with all the mama's in Katie's M/W class :)

What is your favorite thing about FIT4MOM?

I have several favorite things. I love being able to workout where you can be yourself and never feel judged. I love always having a coach and workout buddies by your side who are cheering you on and supporting you. I love the community where you can ask any and all questions and get answers and advice.

What is your current job? Or what did you do before staying at home (if you don’t currently work outside the home)?

I am currently a stay at home mom. However, I tried to quit this week and my "employers" laughed at me. Prior to having kids, I worked in the mortgage industry doing home loans for 12 years.

Share your thoughts on the concept of “it takes a village” – is it important for moms to join a village?

After joining this village, I hope everyone has a village to join as it is so vital. Moms can be so hard on themselves and feel isolated and having a village allows them to have a community that understand them, respects them, helps them when needed, provides guidance and support, and just lifts them up. We are all doing our best to be the best mom to our kids but we need social interaction and support from other moms as well and this village definitely provides that.

What is your favorite beverage?

I'm pretty boring and its probably ice water with lemon. I love a good peppermint mocha too but have cut those out with Body Back.

What is your favorite dessert?

Chocolate lasagna or frozen yogurt

You are given 4 hours of FREE babysitting. What would you do?

Oh man... I would probably scream out in excitement first and then I would take half the time for self care, whether its getting my hair done or a massage or a pedicure. I would then go out to a nice, quiet dinner with my husband. Bonus points if I have time for a cat nap too.

What is your ultimate child-free vacation destination?

Tahiti with a hut on the water

How has becoming a mother changed you?

Becoming a mom has changed me in many ways. I have gained a newfound level of patience I didn't know I had, I have learned to value things differently than I used to, and I now understand how you can love, care, and worry about someone so much. Being a mom is the hardest job ever but the most rewarding!

I am happiest when...

I am with my family and my husband and I can see the excitement and adventure through our kids eyes.
