She's Crafty: Paper Plate Pizzas

This is a great craft and activity that you can scale to accomodate older and younger kids. Older kids can do all the cutting themselves and work on fractions for pizza slices. Younger kids and enjoy gluing!

  • Plain paper plate
  • Assortment of color construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick

  • Have kiddo color "sauce" on plate or cut a smaller (than paper plate) red circle and glue to plate.
  • Cut up various toppings. Ours included cheese, green peppers, mushrooms and pepperoni. (Fringe cutting makes cheese pieces in a snap)
  • Use glue stick to attach toppings! We layered cheese first and then added rest.

Extra Credit: Once pizza is dry, cut into slices and work on fractions!
