When did you join FIT4MOM?
Around 3 years ago after the birth of my first son.

Ian (3.5) and Declan (11 months)
What is your favorite thing about FIT4MOM?
I’ve loved the community and meeting other moms.

I’m a doctor
Share your thoughts on the concept of “it takes a village” – is it important for moms to join a village?
I’m a single mom by choice so it literally takes a village for me and my boys. I have the most wonderful supportive family that help me take care of myself and give my boys overwhelming amounts of love. But, there is nothing like another mother to understand the unique challenges we face. From recommending soccer lessons (thanks Jamie) to helping with three-nager behavior, other moms can give the best advice.
What is your favorite beverage?
Coffee!
What is your favorite dessert?
Can I say coffee again?
You are given 4 hours of FREE babysitting. What would you do?
Take a bath and sleep.
What is your ultimate child-free vacation destination?
I would love to go somewhere new such as India, Thailand or Japan.
How has becoming a mother changed you?
I’m definitely a better doctor now that I understand what it is to be a parent. The love I have for my kids is overwhelming and has helped me shift my focus in life.
I am happiest when…
The boys are making each other laugh
